Hemfer fcm 500mg Injection is an iron replacement product. It is used to treat a type of anemia in which the number of red blood cells is less due to a low level of iron in your body (iron-deficiency anemia). Iron is needed to produce the red blood cells that carry oxygen around your body.

Hemfer fcm 500mg Injection is generally given by a doctor or nurse. You should not self-administer this medicine at home. You will be watched carefully to make sure you do not have an allergic reaction. Your doctor will decide how many doses you need depending on the cause of your anemia. It is advisable to eat iron-rich foods like meat, eggs, raisins, broccoli and lentils along with taking Hemfer fcm 500mg Injection.

The most common side effects include vomiting, nausea, constipation, and dark-colored stools. Most of these usually go away within a short time. If you are bothered by them or they go on for longer, talk to your doctor or nurse.

You should not have this medicine if your anemia is not caused by a lack of iron. Before taking it, tell your doctor if you have rheumatoid arthritis, asthma or other allergies, high blood pressure, or liver problems. This may affect your treatment. It is not known whether this medicine is safe for use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding so please take advice from your doctor. You will have tests to check your blood cells and iron levels, monitor your progress, and check for side effects. It may be advisable to limit alcohol during treatment.

Encicarb 1K Injection is given by injection or infusion (saline drip) into a vein by your doctor or nurse. You will be watched carefully to make sure you do not have an allergic reaction. ENCICARB 500MG contains Ferric carboxymaltose which belongs to the group of medicines called Iron replacement medicines. It is used to treat iron deficiency anaemia (IDA) in adults and in children (above 14 years of age), who are unable to take iron supplements orally, have an intolerance to oral iron supplements, need a rapid iron supplement in the body, have non-dialysis dependent chronic kidney disease. Iron deficiency anaemia is a condition in which the body lacks enough amount of iron, which is essential for the production of red blood cells and transport of oxygen in the body.

Your doctor may advise you to take relevant tests to understand your existing condition. Before receiving ENCICARB 500MG inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant or breast-feeding. ENCICARB 500MG is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (under 14 years of age) and it should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years or above).
